Akaza Research announces the release of OpenClinica version 2.0.1

Akaza Research announces the release of version 2.0.1 of OpenClinica, the leading open source clinical trials data capture system. OpenClinica 2.0.1 follows the release of version 2.0 in November 2006. All versions of OpenClinica are available for download at www.OpenClinica.org.

Some of the improvements to OpenClinica in version 2.0.1 address:

* Simplified installation and set-up for both the Linux and Windows platforms
* Richer audit reporting
* Improved context sensitive end-user help documentation
* Streamlined eCRF creation process
* Rapid set-up of sites within a study and improved access privileges for sites
* Easier repurposing of subjects across studies
