Akaza Research Announces Release of OpenClinica 1.1; Enhances Support for Windows
CAMBRIDGE, MA — July 17, 2006 — Akaza Research, the leading name in open source clinical trials software, is pleased to announce the release of OpenClinica 1.1. This release introduces automatic data warehousing to the Microsoft Windows version of the open source clinical research package. Automated data warehousing has been a standard feature of the Linux version of OpenClinica since its initial release.
“This interim release brings parity between our Linux and Windows versions,” said Cal Collins, CEO of Akaza Research. “While we remain committed to developing and releasing OpenClinica on Linux we recognize that many users run the software on MS Windows,” said Collins.
